The lounge set consists of five parts: a two-seater sofa, two lounge chairs and two coffee tables. The Kawela set is made of eucalyptus wood. Eucalyptus wood is a hardwood species characterised by its coarse grain. The eucalyptus wood in the Garden Impressions collection has a white wash finish. This wood also requires maintenance. We recommend treating this material twice a year with a hardwood oil with a white wash finish. This will best preserve the original colour of the garden furniture.
The coffee tables are finished with a beautiful tabletop made of terrazzo. A terrazzo tabletop is a natural stone-like product. This table top has a unique finish, as it is made of a combination of pieces of marble with concrete.
The table top is finished with a coating, which provides a smooth surface. This material is extremely strong and easy to maintain, as no liquid can soak into it. You can clean a terrazzo tabletop with a mild detergent and lukewarm water. Do not use acidic or strong detergents, as these can damage the top layer.
It is also not advisable to place hot objects on the table top, as marble can fuse.The thick, comfortable lounge cushions are made of water-repellent polyester. This material is very soft and has the property that a few drops are easily knocked off the cushion. If it rains longer, we recommend storing the cushions in a warm, dry place.
